Rotary Club of Lutterworth organized the event and shows a performance by the 50-strong Wigston Male Voice Choir in aid of the cardiovascular research unit at Glenfield Hospital.
To take part in some of the proceedings around 180 member were invited in the event,joining in with rousing choruses of Delilah and Danny Boy.
Peter Osborn from the Rotary Club, said: “Our thanks too must go to John Ensor – an ex member of the choir and past President of Rotary for the idea of running such an evening and to Rotarian Elaine Turner for organising the smooth running of such a special evening which raised £800
“We hope it will not be long before Wigston Male Voice Choir can return.”
